Will I have to go to court?

Not necessarily.  If your case is settled through negotiation, there will be no need for you to appear in court.  However, if litigation is required, you likely may have to testify in court.

How do I pay for my medical bills?

Most doctors and treating facilities know when you are involved in an accident where another party will likely have to pay the costs and will await payment from the settlement.  If you have your own personal insurance, that can also be used to pay, however the insurance company will likely collect that money back from the negligent party.
